Dobri John Stojsic, Founder and Senior Partner
Dobri is a senior executive with over 35 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing and sales, and service quality in Canada and the U.S. Over his career, he has focused on building new business models, thinking creatively about delivering competitive advantage, building effective strategic plans, developing lines of business all over North America for blue chip organizations. Dobri was formerly Senior Vice President, and Chief Marketing Officer with Bank of Montreal and Senior Vice President, Corporate Planning and Development with Aetna Canada. He also has been Executive Vice President with a U.S. savings bank. He founded The Strategic Planning Group in 1992 and currently specializes in helping companies realize their full business potential. The processes that T.S.P.G. uses are based on participation and an inclusive methodologies. He believes that the people who have to develop and implement strategy should be part of creating it. Dobri was an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the University of Toronto in the MBA programs. He taught Marketing Strategy and Service Quality. Dobri is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal and attended the Executive Development Program at Northeastern University in Boston. He was also on the Dean's advisory counsel at Ryerson University.
Barry L. Linetsky, Partner
Since 1994, Barry has been a Partner of T.S.P.G. Prior to joining us, he was with a leading global financial services company where he provided his expertise in operations management, strategic planning, product development and marketing. He is a relentless advocate of the need for a customer-driven focus to guide organizational change.
Barry works with organizations to help them sharpen their strategic focus and understand how customer expectations of product and service performance can be used to drive all aspects of the business. His lucid communication skills and analytical acumen lend additional strengths to his strong implementation and project management skills. Barry received a Master of Arts degree from York University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Toronto.
Sam Cukierman, Partner
Sam has combined over 25 years in executive officer line and staff positions in some of Canada's major organizations (Bank of Montreal, Royal Trust, Cantel, CIBC) where he held senior executive positions. As a consultant he founded two of his own consulting companies. Combining practical knowledge, hands-on leadership, strategy, a qualitative research focus group expertise, proven, tested packaged goods processes, and coaching skills, he brings discipline and senior strategic acumen to us. He has helped build businesses (strategy, products, sales management), develop and change brands, handle turnarounds, and been recognized with awards including the American Marketing Association's McCaskill Award for Marketing Excellence. He has published major research, including The Aging Baby Boomer, Canada, On-Line Brokerage, Canada, and On-Line Banking, Canada. Sam is a faculty member of the Rotman Business School, University of Toronto, where he teaches Advanced Marketing Strategy in the MBA program. He is a graduate of McGill University and has an MBA degree from the University of Western Ontario.
John Eckmire, Partner
John brings 40 years of strategy development and implementation, marketing and sales, new product development, business unit operations, training and organization development experience to the T.S.P.G. team. Prior to joining T.S.P.G. John was Vice-President of Public Programs and Education at Canadian Management Centre, one of the largest management training providers in Canada with well over 100 different subjects offered year round. He remains associated with CMC, as an instructor in Leadership, and Strategy. John is also a certified Executive Coach. John has had line management and executive positions with companies such as Procter & Gamble, Labatt's in Canada and Europe, and Canadian Management Centre. In almost 2 decades as a Management Consultant, he led teams with mandates to initiate new concepts and make significant organizational and diversification initiatives happen. Over the years John played important roles re-organizing marketing departments, installing and training their people in brand management techniques for clients such as Coca-Cola, Warner Lambert (Canada, Mexico and South America), The Seven Up Company (Asia), Canada Packers, Robin Hood Multi-Foods etc. John has a B. Comm from the University of Manitoba.
Peter James Hickman, Senior Consultant
Peter is a seasoned executive with 35 years of hands-on business experience. His career in the Financial Service industry spans investment firms, credit cards and banking operations. Peter brings expertise in operations management, business start ups, senior level project management and implementation. Peter was a founding member of Bank of Montreal MasterCard where he eventually was responsible for national operations and a member of the international committees that provided global operational and process improvement oversight. As the Operations Management Executive at BoM, he was responsible for all change management control and project implementation across the banks 1200 branch network. This role involved managing the banks major reorganization and process changes including the expansion of the ATM network, creation of Centralized Loan Centers both re-organization and site implementation, start up of the Banks Mutual Fund / Asset Management Group. He was also President & CEO of Bank of InvestorLine. Peter subsequently joined HSBC Group and became President & CEO of HSBC Invest Direct. During his tenure at HSBC Group he also held the position of President & CEO Marine Midland Securities at HSBC in New York and provided internal consulting to HSBC Greece & HSBC Australia with respect to the start up of various investment subsidiaries. Peter is the team member who will work with your organizations to manage the implementation of the recommendations that result from our Strategic Planning Process. He holds a B. Comm from Concordia and MBA from the Rotman School at the University of Toronto.
Graeme Booth - Senior Consultant & Associate
Graeme is a visionary business leader with proven success in the public and private sectors. He has over 30 years of experience across a variety of industries including financial services, technology, manufacturing, and professional services. He has a proven track record of establishing new businesses and leading their growth. His experience is unique and includes partnership within the Big 4, at both KPMG LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, as well as Chief Executive Officer experience in two technology companies.
Graeme has a high level of energy and leverages his exceptional blend of business and leadership acumen to advise companies on how to build business units which become high-value contributors to corporate goals and priorities. His areas of specialty are strategic and tactical planning, venture financing and solutions, technology governance, operational implementation, and risk management and corporate governance. Additionally, he mentors and coaches executives and business leaders in a variety of situations. Graeme is currently a Corporate Director for two companies and is on the Advisory Board for a publically traded technology company. He is a graduate of McMaster University, fulfilled the requirements to become a Certified Management Accountant in 1984, and completed the Graduate Management Programme at Ashridge Business School in the UK.
Lisa Lamoreaux, Consultant
Lisa brings ten years of expertise in providing talent pool assessment for succession planning and development, career management counseling, and workshop facilitation. She is known for delivering in-depth analytical capability and ROI reporting, providing scripts for key messages of change, and supporting individual strategic and logistical planning to individuals and organizations. A selection of her clients include the Ontario Public Service, Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Molson, Deloitte, and various hospital boards and health service providers. A skilled interviewer, Lisa is instrumental in conducting research, 360 talent and capability reviews and reporting, and mentoring program evaluation. Lisa has edited several in-house tools and publications for Sage Mentors Inc., including customization of Me2 e-Resource for Mentors and Proteges for the Canadian Physiotherapists Association and the Apprentice Mentoring Program for the Construction Sector Council. Lisa has a degree in psychology from the University of Guelph and has been involved on various charitable committees, including the Mad Hatter's Tea Party to benefit the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and the AIDS Candlelight Vigil in Toronto.
